Shipping conditions AfriLink Parcels (AfriLink Express)
法律文件以法语版本为准;此处显示英文版本。
- Scope. These conditions apply to all parcels and documents entrusted to AfriLink SARL between Cameroon, Russia and China, by air (express or standard) or by sea. The customer accepts them at drop-off.
- Drop-off and tracking. Drop-off in Yaoundé, or in Douala by appointment. Each parcel receives an AFL tracking number and a receipt.
- Weight and price. The price depends on the category, according to the published grid. Minimum billed: 1 kg, rounded up to the next 0.5 kg. The final weight is the one measured on our office scale; the customer is informed of it. An order keeps the price in force when it was created.
- Declared value. The customer must declare the real value of the parcel.
- Contents. Refused: weapons and ammunition, explosives, drugs, counterfeits, bank cards, live animals and any item that is illegal in the destination country. Cash and special items are accepted on request, after contacting an advisor. AfriLink may check the contents at drop-off and refuse a parcel.
- Documents. All documents are accepted, original or copy, by express only, in a sealed envelope provided by AfriLink. They are never opened without the customer’s consent. Delivery requires a signature and a photo.
- Delivery times. Published times are indicative and not guaranteed. Customs, carriers and other circumstances may cause delays.
- Customs. AfriLink handles customs formalities. The customer guarantees the accuracy of their declarations.
- Payment. Payment is due when the parcel arrives at one of our offices and is made via WhatsApp, by mobile money, in cash or by transfer. It may be made by the sender or by the recipient. The parcel is delivered or handed over after the payment is checked.
- Delivery. Door-to-door delivery in Russia (CDEK or post) and in China; collection at our offices. Proof of delivery is a time-stamped, geolocated photo; for documents, a signature is added.
- Uncollected parcels. A parcel is kept for 14 days at most. Reminders are sent on days 3, 7, 10 and 13, then a final notice on day 14. After this period, a parcel may be sold at auction. Documents and cash are never sold: uncollected documents remain kept by AfriLink.
- Liability and insurance. AfriLink is responsible for loss and damage while the parcel is in its possession, up to the declared value. Parcels and documents are covered by insurance. AfriLink is not responsible for prohibited items, false declarations, insufficient packaging, seizures by the authorities or force majeure.
- Claims. Any loss or damage must be reported within 3 days after delivery, to contact@afri-link.net or on WhatsApp, with the tracking number and photos.
- Personal data. See our privacy policy.
- Governing law. Cameroonian law.
